Goeroptics' New XR Optics Signal Growth for Camera Module Suppliers
January 28, 2026
At SPIE AR|VR|MR 2026 on January 20, Goeroptics unveiled a suite of advanced XR optical solutions, headlined by the F50Se—a 50° field-of-view (FoV) full-color Silicon Carbide (SiC) waveguide display module. This breakthrough, achieving 1,500+ nits brightness while mitigating ghosting and rainbow artifacts through ion-beam etching, directly addresses the industry's push for larger, clearer displays in AI glasses and AR devices.
For camera module manufacturers, this optics advancement is a clear demand indicator. As XR devices evolve from single-modal AI to multi-information display, the need for integrated high-performance cameras intensifies. Applications like real-time environmental perception, gesture tracking, and multimodal interaction require camera modules with higher resolution, smaller form factors, and lower power consumption.
Goeroptics' technology accelerates the commercialization of next-generation AI glasses, projecting a concrete roadmap for upstream suppliers. Camera module vendors should prioritize R&D in miniaturized, high-sensitivity sensors and anti-vibration designs to capture the emerging XR market opportunity.
