Camera Compact Module (CCM) is a modular product that integrates components such as a camera, lens, image sensor, digital signal processor, etc. It is mainly used for capturing and recording images . At its core is the image sensor (CIS), which converts optical signals into electrical signals to capture images.
The main components and functions of the camera module:
1. Lens: A lens is a device that brings light to an image sensor, usually consisting of lenses, and different types (such as wide-angle, telephoto, large aperture, etc.) can be chosen to meet different shooting needs .
2. Image sensor: The image sensor is the core component of the camera module that converts optical signals into electrical signals. Two common image sensors are CMOS and CCD .
3. Image processing sensor: Responsible for converting electrical signals to digital image signals and performing color correction, image enhancement, noise reduction and other processing .
4. Circuit board: Connect the above components together to ensure the camera module works properly.
The camera module can be applied in machine vision, smart home, industrial inspection, etc.
